Welcome to Halloween, Elevated.
A Room-by-Room Approach to Sophisticated Halloween Decorating
Halloween décor doesn’t have to mean covering every surface in orange pumpkins, cobwebs and spooky signs.
This year, we’re taking a more collected approach—layering Halloween into rooms that already have a beautiful Fall foundation.
Think deep burgundy, aged brass, warm wood, dark greens and creamy neutrals, with just a touch of the unexpected.
Our rule? 80% beautiful room. 20% Halloween.
Start With the Room
Instead of decorating around Halloween décor, start with a room you love and add a few seasonal details.
Dark florals on a table. Amber bottles that look suspiciously like potions. A ghost or witch’s hat where you least expect one. A raven tucked onto a bookshelf.
The goal isn't to fill every empty surface. It's to create a sense of mood and mystery while still letting your home feel like your home.
Look Beyond Orange + Black
Bring the drama with a moody burgundy, plum, dark olive, or chocolate brown.
Deep, rich tones can elevate a space and set the mood. Mercury glass votives and decanters bring timeless elegance and a touch of mystery to the space.
Highlight sparingly with cream, oatmeal, and antique gold. This combination can feel every bit as seasonal as your typical orange Fall decor and transitions beautifully from early fall through Halloween.
Add Something Unexpected
The Fun is in the Details
Switch out a family photo with a vintage-inspired portrait of a witch or other favorite Halloween character.
Don’t Forget the Small Spaces
Sometimes the smallest detail is the one people remember. A crescent moon over the bathtub. A few playful ghosts in a child's room. A skeleton watching from a corner. A clever quote from a Halloween movie.
Halloween is more fun when you have to look twice.
Set the Mood at the Table
Rich burgundy florals, velvet pumpkins, glowing taper candles and trailing ribbons bring a romantic, slightly mysterious mood to the dining room—proof that Halloween can feel dramatic and elegant without traditional orange and black.
The best seasonal spaces still feel like home—just with a little more magic.
Now it’s your turn. Bring on the Magic.
